Manus already does the work autonomously. What's missing?

Not much, for a one-off task. What Manus isn't built around is the standing job: memory that persists across runs and colleagues, a channel customers can reach, and a gate in front of actions you'd want to approve. Those matter when the same process repeats and more than one person depends on it.

Isn't Manus part of Meta now?

Yes, Manus was acquired by Meta. That's worth knowing for a buying decision rather than being a criticism. If where a product sits matters to your procurement or data posture, it's a fact to establish before comparing feature lists.

Which is better for a one-off piece of analysis?

Honestly, often Manus. If the job is 'take this brief and come back with a deck or a working app', it's very strong at exactly that. A droid is the better answer when the job is ongoing, involves other people, or touches systems where a mistake costs something.

Do both connect to my apps?

Both reach your tools, but differently. Manus tends to operate them live, browsing and clicking, which handles anything without an API.
