Gumloop is one of the better visual automation platforms. You lay out nodes on a canvas, wire in AI steps where judgment is needed, run sub-agents in parallel, and get something you can host and monitor without writing code. When the process is well understood and repeats exactly, that's a genuinely good way to build it. A droid comes at the same problem from the other end. You describe the job out loud, it works out the steps, and it distils what it learned into reusable code as it goes, which suits work that's messier or changes often, and it can pick up the phone while it's at it.

Isn't a visual canvas easier to trust than an agent?

For a fixed process, yes. A graph you drew is a graph you can audit. Where it stops helping is when reality doesn't match the graph, because then someone has to notice, open the canvas and add a branch. A droid reasons about the odd case at runtime, and turns whatever it settles on into a reusable function, which gets you back to determinism without the redraw.

Which should we pick for something like lead enrichment?
